“ Road safety- our top priority.”
Keeping the above thought in mind, a workshop was organized in the school on 29th April and 30th April 2019 to create awareness about road safety measures. The objective was to empower children with the right knowledge, skills and attitude to shape them into responsible citizens. In the Simulation model, the students rode the BMW toy cars and bikes and learnt about various traffic rules in a live traffic situation, making use of road signs, role plays and situation response techniques. The young and vibrant dancers of Happy Hours School bagged 1st position in the Inter-School competition held at Army Public School. The audience swayed to the foot-tapping music and were left in awe by the scintillating and rhythmic performance of the dazzling dancers..
Inter-class dance competition was organized for students of class I. The young and vibrant dancers showcased their talent by performing on different folk songs. They were dressed in colorful ethnic attire and enthralled the audience with their outstanding performances.
With lots of zeal and vigour, little munchkins of Happy Hours School celebrated their sports day on 30.11.19. The sports day began with a well coordinated March past of all the classes followed by Ganesh Vandana. The students gave a sparkling performance of Zumba. OUR little munchkins participated in cone, hurdle and pick n’ drop race. The winners were felicitated with medals and applauded by parents .The day concluded with a speech by our mentors. A special assembly ‘Vaatsalya’ was presented by invigorating and enthralling performers of class I. It was a sweet and unique way to say ‘Thank You’ to all the mothers as they are heartbeat of the family and bring sunshine in each child’s life. The spectators were glued to their seats and could not take their eyes off from the spectacular performances given by students. Happiness Curriculum was introduced to teachers on 19th September, 2019. The resource person - Ms. Neha Sharma initiated the session by an activity - 'Where does your happiness lie?' followed by meditation session. The session highlighted the difference between 'MINDFULL' and MINDFUL'. Happiness session for teachers included practice of mindfulness, gratitude, moral and value-based stories.
UK-Based charity "Teach a Man to Fish" announced Happy Hour School, Pitampura as a Business Growth Winners-Stage 3 of the School Enterprise Challenge 2016.
